Tubosoye Brown, LL.B (Hons), BL, NCA.


Soye is a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia and has been privileged to practice law  Internationally. Here in BC he specializes in personal injury, commercial/corporate law, immigration and general litigation.  He has a passion for community service and is presently engaged as a volunteer in his local church, Nightshift Ministries (which cares for Surrey's homeless) and at the Victoria  Immigrant and refugee Society He is married with four graduate children who are all established in their chosen professions in Canada

Augusta Babs-Ishola, MBA, MSc, PMP

Vice President

Augusta holds an MBA and an MSc in Project Management. A certified Project Management Professional currently working with the Information Management and Information Technology Department of Fraser Health Authority as a Project Manager. She is an avid gardener and lives in Surrey BC with her husband and four wonderful children.

Gabriel Effiong Esu, BSc, PGD, MSc

General Secretary

 Gabriel is a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Acciona Infrastructure Canada Inc., He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying, an MSc in Construction Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Civil & Environmental Engineering. He is currently, engaged in commercial and contract management on the North Shore Waste Water Treatment Plant, a $700M Infrastructure project in North Vancouver.

He lives in Burnaby with his wife Mary and their three children Deborah, Daniel and Damian

Ibrahim Babatunde Oladapo, BSc, MSc

Assistant General Secretary

Ibrahim has over 15 years Project Management experience in the Construction Sector. He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying, MSc in  Project and Enterprise Management, PRINCE2 certificate and Construction Estimation Certified designation. He is currently a Project Manager with AECON Water Infrastructure, working on the Annacis iSland Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project in Delta BC.  Ibrahim is about volunteering and has successfully organized charity activities to the less privileged. He is married with two children.

Solomon Egbon Iwegim, BSc

Financial Secretary

Solomon is a Financial Services and Risk Management Professional with over 15 years experience in Financial Services and Wealth Management. He is currently a Banking Advisor at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Solomon holds a degree in Botany from the Unviersity of Benin, Nigeria and a postgraduate certificate in Business Administration from the University of Leicester, UK. He volunteers for several  non profit organization. Solomon currently lives in Surrey BC with his adorable wife Chinelo and their three lovely children.

Uche Joseph Ogbede, MSc, PhD (c)

Youth Affairs Secretary

 Uche is currently a PhD candidate in Genome Science at the University of British Columbia, with his research focus on drug gene relationship studies. Before moving to Canada, he studied at the University of Glasgow UK for his MSc in Medical Genetics & Genomics. While at Glasgow, he successfully  re-established and was elected President of the Glasgow Student Oxfam Society, a student led group that run campaigns and programs on poverty reduction and equality. Currently, he is a Steering Committee member of the Liu Institute Network for Africa at UBC.  Uche is passionate about quality education for all, poverty reduction, social justice and community development.
