ABOUT US

The Nigeria – Canada Association of British Columbia (NCABC), is a non-profit dedicated to the promotion of culture and the undertaking of philanthropic activities to benefit new immigrants in Canada. We also provide a platform for the healthy exchange of ideas that foster healthy cross-cultural relationships among all Canadians, irrespective of ethnic background, social status, and religious affiliation.

The objectives of the Association include:

  • Providing a forum in which Nigerians, Nigerian-Canadians, and Canadians in British Columbia can interact, share knowledge, and also promote cultural exchange, trade, commerce and tourism between Canada and Nigeria.
  • Providing a forum in which Nigerians, Nigerian-Canadians, and Canadians in British Columbia can interact, share knowledge, and also promote cultural exchange, trade, commerce, and tourism between Canada and Nigeria.
  • Undertake philanthropic activities that benefit new immigrants to Canada.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other Organizations and international Associations of similar interests and to foster healthy inter-cultural exchange among Canadians.

Vision

Going after poverty’s symptoms is temporary. Going after its causes is permanent for everyone.
